Jeff Staniforth
Jeff Staniforth joined the Trust as Chief Executive in December 2007 following a long and successful career with Manchester City Council, latterly working as Deputy Head of Leisure Services with responsibility for both indoor and outdoor leisure. While working with the department, his proudest moment was to take the 'Park Service' to number one in the country for Green Flag awards.
Following study at teacher training college, Jeff chose a career in 'leisure' and still enjoys utilising his training and development skills. He is a qualified Local Government Management Development Advisor and also holds professional qualifications in Leisure Management.
Wythenshawe born and bred, Jeff's ambition is to move Wythenshawe Forum services from good to excellent in all areas and to ensure that the facilities are accessible and enjoyed by more and more people.
